Our internal floor plan surveys are carried out using a varietyt of different methods depending on the nature of the survey. A total station maybe essential for one type of building survey. Or a sketch and hand written dims may be suitable for another.



Another method we use is with our custom developed AutoCAD software, and pocket computers.PDA & Laser measuring device

Measurements are taken using a steel tape and a laser measuring device. Dimensions are then transmitted back to the hand held pc, direct from the laser measure via Bluetooth.

The use of this dedicated software allows us to produce a running accurate plan instantly.The advantages of this technique include; minimizing on drawing or measurement errors and reducing the time spent drawing up the survey back at the office.

This helps to save us and you, time and money on costly site revisits and man hours in the office
